Do you know about these handy features of the BiP app?
Since 'BOMA in the Pocket' launched this May, more than 2,500 cleaning professionals have been using this convenient app. Of course, the app allows you to easily manage your cleaning product orders, just like you do on our DosDob platform or online store from your computer. But are you familiar with these extra BiP features?
Track your machine usage with BiP and our trackers
Did you know that with BOMA in the Pocket, you can pinpoint the location of your machines and see how long they're being used? You may notice that some machines are used less often than others. And that's a shame because three out of four service requests for machines are due to inadequate daily maintenance. By avoiding unnecessary service calls, you save on both costs and CO2 emissions. BiP can help you take a step toward greater sustainability.
How does it work? Go to the 'machines' section and select the machine whose usage and location you wish to view. Once selected, simply choose 'Geolocation' to view the machine's location, or 'Activity' to see how often it's being used. Activity is shown by month and even by day.
Are you using BOMA Flex Fleet? If so, you can determine when and where to deploy additional machines using data provided by BiP, and with BOMA Flex Fleet's flexible equipment management, you can reduce downtime. It's a smart choice.
Manage orders directly from the storage cabinet with BiP
With BiP, your colleagues in the field can check and send orders directly from the storage cabinet. It's also possible to assign location managers within the BiP app. You can even stay in control by preparing an order yourself and sending it to a colleague, who just needs to do a final check in the storage cabinet. Just click and send! This feature cuts down on unnecessary trips back and forth. It's good for you and good for the environment.
How does it work? Go to the 'address book' section, find the address where you want to add a colleague, click 'grant access to a colleague', and send the invitation directly. If that colleague then wants to place an order, you'll always receive it for approval, thus helping to avoid mistakes.
Add photos to a service request or instant message
Did you know BiP lets you easily submit a service request for your machine or chat with our Bomitos if you need help solving a cleaning issue? Our Bomitos can now help even faster if you add a photo that clarifies your cleaning issue to your instant message or service request.
How does work? Click the chat icon in the top right corner to start a conversation with one of our cleaning experts. Click the plus sign next to the message input field to attach a photo.
Scan barcodes to access safety data sheets
We like to make things easier for you. Are you at the storage cabinet looking for information about a product, or perhaps its safety data sheet? BiP puts this information right at your fingertips. Just scan the barcode and BiP will show you everything you need to know. Want to order the product? You can instantly add it to your cart.
How does it work? Click on 'Scan' and get started! Hold your phone's camera over the product's barcode, and BiP will bring up all the information on your screen.
