Voor toiletten met een lage bezoekersfrequentie is traditioneel toiletpapier een goede keuze. In traditioneel toiletpapier heb je meestal de keuze tussen 200 vellen of 400 vellen per toiletrol.
Vel-per-vel toiletpapier kenmerkt zich door een grotere hoeveelheid toiletpapier dat in een dispenser past en een beperkt verbruik. Het kan makkelijk en snel bijgevuld worden waardoor het ideaal is voor toiletten met hoge piekmomenten. Vel-per-vel toiletpapier staat ook bekend als gevouwen of bulk toiletpapier.
Midsize toiletpapier is ideaal voor toiletten met meer bezoekers. De toiletrollen hebben meer capaciteit (700-900 vellen per rol) en de bijhorende dispensers hebben doorgaans plaats voor 2 toiletrollen. Hierdoor is het midsize toiletpapier ook bijzonder geschikt voor toiletten die minder frequent aangevuld kunnen worden.
Voor toiletten met een hoge bezoekersfrequentie en/of hoge piekmomenten is jumbo toiletpapier de goede keuze.
